At the conclusion of his/her term, it is the responsibility of each officer, Committee Chair and Editor to meet with their elected or appointed successor to review the duties, responsibilities, goals and current projects related to their positions.II. The retiring and incoming leaders will jointly review and complete the Board of Directors Orientation/Transition Checklist. PROCEDURE:I. The Board of DirectorsТ Orientation/Transition Checklist is revised as needed by the Vice-President/President Elect in conjunction with annual preparations for the transition of leaders. II. The Vice-President/President Elect coordinates distribution of the checklist.III. The incumbent leader provides pertinent records, such as Mid-year and annual Reports, meeting minutes and other information contained in the manual for that officer/chairperson.IV. Following joint review, the completed checklist will be sent to the RMPANA President.V. The President may use the checklist as a resource for continued orientation and/or follow-up for individual needs.
